Terms and refunds

ChinaLocal at chinalocal.app is operated by 深圳市问远有声创意文化有限公司. These terms explain what you get when you use the service or make a purchase.

What you buy

  • 7-day and 14-day Trip Passes start when purchased. Lifetime Basic has no expiry. All three include calendar export for booking reminders; reminder lists remain visible to everyone.
  • Ask credit packs never expire and add questions to your account.
  • Every purchase is a one-time PayPal payment in USD. Nothing renews automatically.
  • PayPal provides the payment receipt. ChinaLocal does not issue a Chinese fapiao.

Free access

Plan as many trips as you like. You can save, edit and export one trip at no cost. China Ready checklists and guides stay free. New visitors also start with 20 free Ask ChinaLocal questions, up to 8 per day. More saved trips and Ask questions require a purchase.

Refunds

  • You can request a full refund within 14 days of purchase if you have used fewer than 10 Ask credits from that purchase.
  • If something fails on our side, such as a payment that did not add the purchased pass or credits, you can get a full refund at any time.
  • To request a refund, email 272691850@qq.com (or use the feedback form) and include your PayPal receipt ID. Refunds are returned through PayPal.
  • A refunded purchase is removed from your account, including access or credits it granted.

AI and live information

Ask ChinaLocal uses AI to generate answers and may use live AMap data. Opening hours, prices and rules can change; check important details before relying on them. ChinaLocal is not a travel agency and does not sell bookings. Trip.com links may earn us a commission.

Acceptable use

Each account is for one person. Do not automate queries or resell access. We may limit abusive use.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, ChinaLocal is not responsible for losses caused by inaccurate or outdated travel information or service interruptions. Our total liability for the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. This does not limit rights that the law does not allow us to limit.
