How to Use Didi in China
Ride-hailing is easier when your account, payment and Chinese destinations are ready before you need a car.
Do this before you go

Install or access Didi through an official app or supported mini-program and complete the requested setup.

Save your hotel’s Chinese name, full address and front-desk number.

Before confirming a ride, compare the destination name and map pin and note the pickup point.
If something gets stuck
The driver cannot find me.
Move only to a safe, clear pickup point. Share the Chinese pickup name or ask nearby staff to help describe it.
My destination has several results.
Match the district, Chinese address and map pin; contact the destination if the entrance is unclear.
You’re ready when: Didi opens and my accommodation plus first destination are saved in Chinese.
