Your passport, purpose, stay and complete route all matter. A ticket or a nationality match alone is not an entry decision.
Check the latest official notice before booking, especially for travel after a published policy end date. Other arrangements may exist for passports outside the unilateral list.

- Select your actual main purpose and planned days in mainland China.
- Check whether you have confirmed onward travel to a third country or region.

Does this tool approve entry?

Can I rely on a tourist visa on arrival?
Do not rely on that assumption. NIA describes port visas for qualifying urgent needs with supporting documents; ask the responsible authority first.
Where do I ask about work or study?
Ask the Chinese embassy or consulate about the category that covers your actual activity. Do not assume a tourism or business category applies.
